European Occupational Exposure Viewer (OEV)

OEV is a tree-map style interactive tool that allows the exploration of work exposures by European country, year, and sex. Occupational exposures included in OEV are based on exposures included in the EuroJEM, which is a series of job-exposure matrices (JEMs) created under the Exposome Project for Health and Occupational Research (EPHOR) project.

To use the interactive tool, begin by selecting an occupational exposure, country, year, and worker sex. Based on the selection, the tool will display the number of workers exposed to the exposure by occupation. Occupations with larger exposed population will appear as larger boxes in the tree-map. If exposure level information is available, they will shown as light, medium, and dark shades for low, medium, and high exposure, respectively.

The tool also allows exploration of multiple exposures. To do this, simply select the exposures of interest and the tool will show any occupations exposed to multiple exposures, if any.
